Inglewood Mobile Notary and Live Scan for Shift Workers

If your work does not follow a 9-to-5 calendar, a notary office that closes at five is not much help. Inglewood has plenty of people working shifts around the clock, and paperwork does not wait for a day off. Here is how mobile service can fit around a nontraditional schedule.

The problem with office hours

Many notary and fingerprinting locations keep business hours that overlap with the exact times shift workers are on the clock or sleeping. Taking time off just to sign a page or give fingerprints can mean lost pay and a rushed trip. Mobile service flips that around: instead of you going to the notary, the notary comes to you.

Common situations we can help with

  • Notarized forms before a shift. A document is due, but you are on your feet for hours. A short appointment at your workplace break area, if your employer allows it, or at home before your shift may work.

  • A sleeping household. Someone who works nights may need a late-day appointment after they wake up, not in the morning.

  • Live Scan for a new job. Employers sometimes ask new hires to complete fingerprinting before starting. We bring mobile Live Scan and offer overnight and after-hours slots when available.

  • A group at one location. Co-workers who all need the same service can often be scheduled one after another in one visit.

How to book smartly

Tell us your real availability, not your ideal. Something like "I am off Tuesday and Wednesday, asleep until 3 p.m." is more helpful than "any time." We will tell you what we can offer, and if your first choice is not possible, we will suggest the closest option.

Confirm the address and any access details too. Gated lots, building lobbies and loading areas can all slow a visit down.

What to have on hand

For a notarization:

  1. A complete document with nothing missing.

  2. A valid photo ID for each signer.

  3. Every signer present.

For Live Scan:

  1. The agency's Live Scan Request form with its codes.

  2. A valid photo ID.

  3. Payment for the applicable fees.

Before a Live Scan appointment, wash and dry your hands. Heavy lotion can affect print quality.

Limits worth knowing

We cannot notarize if a signer is not in front of us or cannot be identified. We do not choose the notarial act or provide legal advice, and for Live Scan we do not decide eligibility or see results. Those questions belong to the requesting agency or an attorney.

If your shift calendar is the obstacle, call and tell us about it. A mobile appointment may remove it.
